I go by Gift, a name that stuck long before I knew I'd spend my days shaping how people experience the digital world.
I'm a UI/UX Designer with over three years of hands-on experience, currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science at Strathmore University in Nairobi. That intersection, design sensibility meeting engineering thinking, shapes everything I make.
I've collaborated with Wamara Studio on real-world platforms that needed to earn trust fast and work beautifully. I care about the quiet details: spacing that breathes right, flows that need no explanation, interfaces that get out of the way.
Wamara Studio
Collaborated on end-to-end design for client-facing digital products. Led visual design and prototyping for Chapter Zero Kenya and the Winds of Change scholarship platform: from wireframes to high-fidelity Figma deliverables and Framer builds.
Independent
Worked with early-stage clients and student organisations to design brand identities, landing pages, and user flows. Built a foundation in translating vague briefs into considered, usable interfaces.
Strathmore University, Nairobi
Studying alongside professional design work, bringing engineering reasoning to design decisions and design thinking to technical problem-solving.
Open to freelance projects, studio collaborations, and conversations about design. Don't overthink the message.
